I bought the Herman Miller Embody once I started working from home full time. I found places that stock the chairs I was looking at and went and sat in them, no way I'm spending that much on a chair before trying it, so I suggest you do the same. When it came time to buy I saw someone mention to contact an authorized dealer in your area and it will be cheaper, sure enough it was 1700ish through the HM website and 1200ish through the dealer. I had to pay a freight fee for delivery but it was only an extra hundred.
I think I am going to take a visit to a local showroom that has Herman Miller stuff. I went to one yesterday to try out some Steelcase chairs but it turned out to be a Steelcase-only showroom despite not really indicating that online. They were nice but the Hermans look better. I'm looking at the Embody too but looking at several authorized dealers, they seem to be the same price as the HM website. HM actually has a 15% off sale right now but I assumed for luxury brands like HM, the prices were set by HM even at non-HM stores. Kind of like Apple dictating prices and discounts for stores selling their products.

I gotta admit, I hadn't heard about the slap heard around the world when I first read dilla's post and I was like "will smith makes chairs? huh?" - Stern said it well when he said "I studied the footage like the Zapruder film" - At first I thought it was fake, the second or third time watching it I was sure it was real. The greatest night in television.
Will Smith - the last movie of his I watched years ago was I Am Legend and yeah, that man is a legend. He's my youth! He's The Fresh Prince! Bad Boys. Independence Day! Men In Black. Enemy of State. Nobody is going to take that away from him. Now he's banned from the show for 10 years? It don't matter!! Anthony Hopkins' been staying home for 40 years!

lul I forget I have some users blocked and forget you're talking to someone else.
I went in to a store today and tried them out. My mom and I both felt the Aeron felt better. The Embody was nice but it wasn't as bouncy as the Aeron lol.
Couldn't go wrong with either but the Embody was not as comfy as it looks. But that could be me being a fat bastard.
