“Jacob the Jeweler” pleads not guilty
Russian jeweler, Yakov Arabov, better known as “Jacob the Jeweler” pleaded not guilty after being accused of fraud earlier this week.
On June 15th the jeweler was arrested by authorities in New York and incriminated of being in a money laundering conspiracy. Yakov was also accused by Detroit authorities of being connected with a gang called the “Black Mafia Family” who was well known for dealing with cocaine in the early 90’s.
The Russian foreigner has also become well known through out Hollywood, and has supplied many of hip-hop’s finest artists with jewelry, such as The Notorious B.I.G, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West, and many other celebrities.
