Rapper 50 Cent has been ordered to pay an undisclosed figure after assaulting a photographer.
The hip-hop star - real name Curtis Jackson - attacked the New York Post’s deputy photo assignment editor Jim Alcorn in 2003.
Alcorn filed a lawsuit claiming he was assaulted after taking a photograph of the star as he left a jewelery shop. He sustained neck and jaw injuries.
Alcorn’s lawyer Sanford Rubinstein tells New York gossip column PageSix, "A settlement was reached and all parties are satisfied." A spokesman for Jackson says, "It’s a legal issue that’s been settled."
