While reality shows have been popping on television for years, shows like MTV’s Real World and Survivor, aren’t considered to be overrated, just yet.
Like many notable artists and celebrities in the past, 50 Cent has also chosen to take on the grasp of putting out a reality show of his own.
The series, titled The Money and the Power, stars the G-Unit honcho himself in a boot camp-type atmosphere.
For a span of ten weeks, fourteen contestants will go head-to-head in the battle to survive the challenges that will be brought forth by 50 Cent.
No surprise here – each week, the weakest contestant will be eliminated.
On the tenth and final week of the series, the winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize.
Aubrey O’ Day (Danity Kane), LL Cool J, Lloyd Banks, as well as Tony Yayo are all expected to make guest appearances on the show.
The Money and the Power premieres November 6 on MTV.
