According to reports, Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) will be starring in a remake of an award-winning French-film titled 13 Tzameti.
The rap-mogul will be sharing the big screen along with actor and close friend of Tupac Shakur – Mickey Rourke and Transporter star Jason Statham.
13 Tzameti is about an immigrant worker who steals an envelope and later finds himself trapped in a dangerous situation.
The movie, originally released in 2005, won the World Cinema Jury Prize at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and also won awards at the 62nd Venice Film Festival.
In related news, 50 Cent’s fourth solo album, Before I Self Destruct, hits stores December 9.
The album will feature appearances from Akon, Dr. Dre and Eminem, among others.
