Multi-platinum, legendary music producer, songwriter and former rapper, Johnny Jackson, who is best known for producing records for the late Tupac Shakur, committed suicide yesterday (October 3) at LA County Jail.
According to reports, Jackson jumped from a tier, which led to his demise.
Jackson was said to be serving time for DUI.
Johnny “J” was born in Juarez, Mexico and raised in South Central, Los Angles by his adopted African American Father and Mexican-American Mother.
In the past, Jackson had produced several records for Tupac Shakur, including “All About U,” “How Do You Want It,” “Life Goes On” and many other tracks that still remain unreleased.
