Busta Rhymes was reportedly ordered to pay $100,000 to the man who said he was assaulted by the rapper in Miami after asking for an autograph.
According to Busta’s lawyer, Bruce Regenstreich, a court-appointed mediator was called in after Rhymes repeatedly ignored the lawsuit. The mediator found Rhymes and his bodyguard Troy Green liable for beating up 37-year-old fan Melvin Smith outside of the Corner Gourmet II deli in lower Manhattan in 2005.
