According to SOHH.com, Busta Rhymes has thrown in the towel on Aftermath / Interscope and has now signed a deal with Universal Motown.
Earlier in the week, rumors circulated about Busta being dropped from Interscope.
“I can’t confirm or deny anything,” an Interscope / Aftermath representative told SOHH regarding the rumors on Busta.
After facing a number of setbacks on the release of his eighth studio album, Blessed, the album is now slated to be released through Universal Motown.
According to Wikipedia.com the album will be released on December 9, 2008.
The album, which was previously titled Before Hell Freezes Over, and later changed to Back on My Bullshit, was originally planned for release in 2007.
Motown Records, now home to Busta Rhymes, is also the home of rappers Lil Wayne and Chamillionaire.
