Houston rapper Chamillionaire has followed in the footsteps of Twista, Scarface, DJ Quik and Omar Epps by becoming the new face of Makaveli Branded. He will be featured in the late rapper Tupac’s clothing line's spring ad campaign.
"Chamillionaire was an obvious choice when we were considering candidates for the spring campaign" said Makaveli Branded VP Rick Edwards, via a statement. "Everyone knows the incredible work ethic that Tupac had during his career and I see that same ethic in everything Chamillionaire does. His leadership and music both have contributed greatly to the resurrection of the Houston music scene."
Expect to see the advertisements in the usual urban magazines such as Slam, The Source, XXL and Scratch.
All proceeds will be donated to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation and Center of the Arts.
