The rap group Clipse has set Dec. 12 for the release of its new Neptunes-produced Jive album, Hell Hath No Fury.
With the intention of joining the Neptunes’ label Star Trak, the duo had sued Jive to get out of its four-album contract. But Zomba chairman/CEO and Jive presidet Barry Weiss refused to set them free.
The contractual struggle was eventually settled with a label distribution deal with Jive for the pair's Re-Up Gang Records.
