D12 has announced that they will push forth with plans to record a new album despite the shooting death of group member, Deshaun “Proof” Holton. In fact, the group plans to resume recording as early as next month when another member, Swift, is released from jail, stemming from a probation violation. “If people think that because he’s not here we’re not going to keep doing what we’re doing, then they’re wrong,” member Kon Artis told The Associated Press. As previously reported, Proof was shot and killed on April 11 at C.C.C. nightclub after he reportedly shot a man following an altercation. The man, Keith Bender, later died from his gunshot wound.
