One of the minds behind the Rap Phenomenon mixtape series, DJ Vlad, will soon be coming to a TV near you. The show, DJ Vlad Presents, can be seen on the DoD (Def on Demand) channel created by Russell Simmons.
The series will feature exclusive interviews with DJ Vlad, Young Jeezy, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Master P, Luke, Pitbull and Jackie-O. This sets the tone for the main concept behind the channel; the free on-demand service hosted by Comcast Cable presents exclusive content to the viewer. This includes videos, biographies, features and interviews with an array of artists such as 50 Cent and Nas.
This move from Vlad has not come completely out of left field. In recent years he began releasing CD/DVD combos, such as Devil’s Advocate and Beef III. He just released his first solo DVD product, tagged along with part of his Hot In Here series.
