Another day, another traffic stop for DMX. The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was pulled over by police in New York Monday for driving his 2001 Chevy Suburban uninspected.
Upon further investigation, police found that DMX was not licensed to drive in the state of New York, and was travelling along Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers with a suspended license.
Police promptly impounded the Chevy Suburban and DMX was issued three summonses to appear in City Court on Dec. 18.
His last big traffic-related issue took place in June, when he was jailed briefly after missing several court dates to address a June 2 incident, in which he was accused of driving erratically in White Plains, NY.
