Eminem has reportedly softened a bit when it comes to his mother Debbie Mathers-Briggs, who is currently suffering from stage four breast cancer.
Neither has spoken to each other since she sued him for defamation of character following his song, "Cleanin’ Out My Closet," in which he calls her a drug addict and alcoholic, among other things.
According to reports, the rapper has decided to leave the past behind and take care of his mother’s $368,000 in hospital bills.
"The nightmare Debbie has been going through with her cancer has put everything in perspective. ...He has recently started helping her financially with her medical bills, they have spoken a few times on the phone and now she desperately hopes he will visit her." A soure close to Eminem was quoted as saying.
