N.W.A. founder Ice Cube (born O’Shea Jackson) will be teaming up with NBA star-player Lebron James to produce a new television drama for ABC.
The series will be focused on the early life of Lebron James – being a black highschool student while playing basketball in a small town.
In relation, a documentary showcasing James’ highschool ball-playing-days will also make its way to the big screen sometime next year.
According to Interscope Records-boss Jimmy Iovine, the documentary will be accompanied with live performances and a soundtrack.
A release date for the Ice Cube-produced series is yet to be determined.
