Jim Jones has been appointed the Vice President of Urban A&R at independent distribution label Koch Records.
"It feels good to know that the hard work has been recognized by the same people that have helped me get to this point in my career," Jones said. "They recognize that I'm not only an artist but a person that can smell talent and be able to mold a superstar."
What is really good for Jim, and shows that he is a better business man than most people give him credit for, is the fact that while he has this position and a deal with Koch, he also keeps his deal with Columbia Records ensuring both labels will look after and market his upcoming album.
