Lil’ Eazy-E, the son of late N.W.A. founder Eazy-E, was pulled over by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies Saturday night and arrested for possession of a concealed weapon, authorities said Sunday.
The rapper, born Eric Wright Jr., 22, was initially stopped for a traffic violation in Compton, Lt. Michael Alerich said. But a search of the car turned up more serious infractions.
"Mr. Wright was in possession of a firearm and he was arrested," Alerich said. "Two other guys in the car were also arrested, one for possession of a firearm and the other for a probation violation."
Lil’ Eazy, the firstborn son of Eazy-E, recently released his album, Prince of Compton. His father, a.k.a. Eric Wright, died of AIDS in 1995.
