It was announced today (October 1) that BME / G-Unit affiliate Lil Scrappy will take his next project independent, releasing Silence & Secrecy on January 27 through Good Hands / G'$ Up Records.
His 2006 effort, Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live was executive produced by both 50 Cent and Lil Jon.
Silence & Secrecy will include appearances by former Crime Mob affiliate Diamond. G'$ Up is prominently featured on what's being billed as a group effort, with fraternal duo SMG helping out on rapping and production.
"SMG have their own sound. Memphis has its own sound, Atlanta has its own sound, when you put them together, that shit is bomb, it's gonna explode. That's what this Lil Scrappy & G'$ Up is on," said Scrappy in a statement from the label.
Good Hands released a collaborative album, Chief Kamachi and Killah Priest's Beautiful Minds, earlier this week.
