A new documentary titled “Bling: A Planet Rock” (tentative) will air on VH1 early 2007 and will focus on the diamond industry in Sierra Leone as well as hip-hop’s marketing influence during the country’s civil war.
Paul Wall, Raekwon, and Tego Calderon will be part of the film, and will bring awareness to viewers of the West African diamond industry by visiting mining communities, local artists, unions, and other facilities that are in reach with this matter.
