Grammy Award winning R&B singer R. Kelly is set to speak out for the first time since being acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography this summer via an exclusive interview with BET.
Titled R. Kelly Speaks, BET's Toure' sits down with the multi-platinum recording artist for his first and possibly last interview to discuss his long legal battle leading up to the not-guilty verdict.
The verdict came six years after the R&B superstar was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl who prosecutors believe may have been as young as 13 at the time.
Slated to air Tuesday (September 16th) at 10 PM ET, Kelly will answer the hard-hitting questions surrounding his recent case, career, critics and more, hoping to close this major chapter in his life once and for all.
The "Hairbraider" singer will also speak openly about his feelings during and after the trial, the fans he lost along the way, his brother who openly expressed concern about the superstar's sexual age preference and more.
Kelly's exclusive interview follows a series of BET helmed specials including Hip Hop star T.I.'s first interview after being convicted of possession charges.
