Wu Tang Clan rapper Raekwon appears in the DVD film Coalition, described as a modern day On the Waterfront set in the New York construction industry.
The director is 20-year-old Joseph Ariola, a member of the New York City Operating Engineer local 15 Union. Coalition is based on police trying to infiltrate a corrupt organization known as Survival of the Black Man, a group that attempts to control the local construction industry. Raekwon plays the role of Akey, and also co-produced the soundtrack, which features Fat Joe and fellow Wu members RZA and Method Man.
