Snoop Dogg is shaking up his personal life by dropping more than half of his entourage who he feels bring him trouble, according to reports.
The rapper is looking to make a clean break in the new year to distance himself from his recent troubles, which include drug convictions and weapons charges, and hopes the change will allow him to re-enter the UK on a work visa.
Snoop was banned from the UK in March over his drug convictions earlier this year, as well as an arrest at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California, for possessing a collapsible baton. He was also arrested at Heathrow Airport for causing criminal damage in 2006.
His close friend Bishop Don Magic Juan revealed the news to Sister 2 Sister magazine, saying, "He needs that support right now."
"It's been amazing because it's been a more peaceful thing for the champ."
