The Inc. Records, formerly Murder Inc, is set to sign a deal with Warner Music Group, according to sources.
StreetHop.com has learned that with the release of Ja Rule and Ashanti's greatest hits albums, Exodus and Collectibles, The Inc. has filled their contractual obligations with Island Def Jam and a move to Warner Music Group is probable.
Irv Gotti has also begun negotiations regarding a high-level executive position at Atlantic Records, a sub division of Warner Music. However any such position will depend on the outcome of his legal problems, but Irv remains positive as he was recently cleared of money laundering charges along with his brother Chris.
Chris and Irv's move to Warner Music would of course include their current roster of artists including Ja Rule, Ashanti, Cadilla Tah, Black Child and Lloyd.
