A Manhattan judge has reportedly denied Foxy Brown's request for an early release from jail so she can travel to California to treat her hearing impairment.
Brown, who is currently serving a one year sentence for violating probation, wrote a four page letter to Judge Melissa Jackson on January 15th, 2008, asking to be released because her hearing was worsening and that the only doctor who could help her with her condition and hearing device is located in California.
Brown suffered sudden hearing loss in 2005 and underwent surgery to reverse her hearing loss. She now wears an electronic ear device which her manager has claimed gives her issues.
According to The Courier Post, Judge Jackson shot down Brown’s request on Thursday, January 24th. The rapper is now more likely to get her treatment in New York, something that prosecutors had argued during a hearing last week.
