According to reports, rapper Young Jeezy was arrested after an alleged shootout in South Beach involving some of his friends.
The rapper was with a group of men involved in a fight around 5:30 a.m. Friday, according to a police report. When a passer-by filming the fight refused to hand over his video camera, one of the men in the group began shooting. As a result, Jeezy, and several other men, were arrested after they fled the scene.
Young Jeezy - real name Jay Jenkins - was charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, which were allegedly found under his seat in the sports utility vehicle he was travelling in and one near the armrest.
Two others in the group were also arrested, with one facing a robbery charge while the other was taken into custody relating to an earlier warrant.
