As previously reported, Jay Jenkins aka Young Jeezy, was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. Jeezy was released on bail and through his lawyer, Scott Leemon, gave a statement saying the guns did not belong to him.
"Jeezy adamantly denies that any of the weapons belonged to him and I am confident that Jeezy will be vindicated," said Leemon.
Young Jeezy was freed on $7,500 bond. Three other members of his crew were also arrested in the incident.
Jeezy’s case will be bought before the Miami-Dade Circuit Court March 31st.
Incidentally, despite records pointing to Jeezy’s age being 28, his lawyer claims he is 26.
