Chicago bred rapper Yung Berg was reportedly robbed and assaulted in Detroit this past weekend.
According to AllHipHop.com, Berg was assaulted and robbed of his jewelry by a group of men at Plan B nightclub on Friday night (August 25) despite having security.
The men reportedly approached Berg over comments he had made about Detroit rappers in a previous visit to the city. Ironically, Plan B nightclub is owned by Detroit rapper Trick Trick.
Berg was left "badly bruised" as a result of the assault and his "Transformers" chain was part of the jewelry swapped from him during the altercation.
Berg was in Detroit to perform at 102.7's Summer Jam on Saturday (August 23) but canceled his appearance because of his injuries.
