Easier to sign up to a plex server ran by someone who already has a server full of shows. You can pay £3 a month and get every show you can think of.

I just use bootleg accounts to begin with. Xbox, TV, or desktop, there's a simple app for it that's easy to maneuver.

Plus it's nice to watch The Wire on HBO in HD and not at the mercy of what the other person has.

The other person has every TV show that's aired in the last 5 years. Plus some classics. 1500 different shows. 90% in HD.

Bootleg accounts are good too though. But downloading from warez or torrents is massively outdated.

I usually get 720p episodes in 4-10 minutes, depending on the show. I honestly prefer that to Hulu and its ads. But still can't complain because it's all free.

I think you should give Warez.bb a shot and see how direct download links are now. I have a 30 Mbit connection and downloading from sites like ClicknUpload and HugeFiles gets me everything within 10 minutes. And as I mentioned above, no ads is such a blessing once you actually have to sit through the ads. Plus being able to pause and not worry about closing the window on accident and having to load it all up again is a plus.

Yes, I value those precious few seconds. :)

I stream it instantly on Plex from a server I use for IPTV. They have everything. I am downloading less and less. I only keep classics on my server now. Things I want to watch in 1080p resolution with Dolby HD sound.

Mr. Robinson cancelled already, ha. The Carmichael Show on NBC not bad though, renewed for 2nd season. Fear the Walking Dead not doing much for me. Redundant, plus everyone on there is in a bad situation because they act like idiots. I'm rooting for the zombies. The Bastard Executioner premieres tonight on FX, might be good.

Yeah, I saw Robinson was cancelled. There was a thread on Reddit about it and I ended up watching The Carmichael Show when someone suggested it was better and had been renewed as Robinson got cancelled. Both are on Hulu.

If you haven't given Blunt Talk with Patrick Stewart a shot, it's been alright so far. Really funny but nothing much in the plot area. It's kind of like Louie, but more vulgar. So maybe Californication?

The Muppets was surprisingly not shitty. Definitely not the Muppets humor we grew up with, though.

All the ABC shows started back up. Modern Family, Blackish, Fresh Off the Boat. I heard they were premiering one with that Korean actor from Hangover and Community. Ken Jeong, I think? It's called Dr. Ken or something. ABC is killing it. To me, it's got the shows I want to watch. It's what NBC was when 30 Rock, The Office, and Parks and Rec were on at the same time. Community was on then too. Just loaded Thursday nights.

SOFI got me into Big Bang some 5 odd years ago. It was good early on, but this latest episode is just the final nail in the coffin. Show needs to die. They should all have an orgy in the living room and roll-credits.

Yeah, this season's Big Bang sucks

Blindspot - nothing new but interesting enough so far
Life in Pieces - Ok, but nah, like a second-rate Modern Family
Minority Report - really nothing new but I'll watch for Megan
Limitless - liked the movie and like this
Scream Queens - fahgedaboutit! terrible
Rosewood - I like Morris Chestnut but there's nothing here. It's basically him flirting with a detective girl.
The Player - NBC, ok action, too soon to tell if it's worth it
Quantico - ABC, had hopes for this but it blows, dumb plot
Grandfathered - comedy on Fox, first show not bad
Blood & Oil - again, first show not bad

Aside from Blindspot and Minority, I haven't heard of any of those shows.

Dr. Ken has Ke Jeong in it and starts this Friday. Probably mentioned that earlier but only found out about it a week or two ago.

Bastard Executioner?

Bastard Executioner- seems like it should be like Game of Thrones but hard to follow and very slow. I'll watch a few more episodes to see if it picks up.
Most TV critics say Dr. Ken should suck, but it looks promising to me.
Code Black premieres tomorrow on CBS
The Grinder with Rob Lowe premiered tonite on FOX, but I was watching Fresh Off the Boat. Will check that out later.

I know every scripted show that's coming out and I watch the first episode of each, so I never miss a series I would like.

Upcoming shows in Oct:

Casual (Hulu) 10/07
The Last Kingdom (BBC America) 10/10
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW) 10/12
Truth Be Told (NBC) 10/16
Supergirl (CBS) 10/26
Wicked City (ABC) 10/27
Ash vs. Evil Dead (Starz) 10/31

Supergirl sounds like a very forced series just to have a strong female lead/hero. I think that one flops right out the gate.

FOTB is pretty good. Some of the values and mannerisms I can relate to.

The Grinder got some good reviews as well. I read Rob Lowe dropped a "literally" on it. Hopefully it's on Hulu tomorrow with FOTB.

I could never get into Adult Swim shows. But Rick and Morty has changed that. Still has a stoner show vibe to it but I find it plenty funny while sober.

I feel like I keep harping on Blunt Talk but I really like it. It reminds me of a show but I can't quite put my finger on it. A little bit of Louis and a little bit of Eastbound, just a little less vulgar and surreal. Just an old guy coming to terms with showbiz and death and family stuff. I love Patrick Stewart's sarcasm.

I like Blunt Talk and I'm not surprised that Stewart is good at comedy. He's done voices for Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, and he's the narrator of the Ted movies. It's already been picked up for a second season.

Rob Lowe also does the voice for a new animated show on Comedy Central called Moonbeam City. The character looks like him and it's hilarious, better than Adult Swim.

Rick and Morty pretty great. Been watching since it began.

Supergirl looks like something that should be on the Disney channel, but I'll give it a chance.

Off topic about watches. Anyone a watch buff and know where Fossil ranks on the spectrum? Is there a stereotype associated with it?

It's no Rolex or some other high end piece. But surely it's better than the shit that comes at the bottom of a cereal box.

I'll have to give Moonbeam City a shot. I was always hesitant to start the "adult cartoon" thing that Adult Swim and now CC is known for. I just dismissed it as something for unemployed potheads. But I'm no better, so why not...
