I bought a OnePlus Two. I've never been so happy with a new phone. I bought the black wood back for it so I'm excited for that. I wasn't liking the Nexus 5x too much and the price for this was too good to pass up. yaaaay

For the price it seems like a bargain but aren't there any features you're missing from your previous phone?

Also, I set up Kodi. Pitts was right. There's so much shit on here although it does get daunting to search through stuff at times. A lot of the add ons have broken links but for the ones that do have a reputation of working, this is phenomenal.

Got Kodi on my Nexus Player, but it was having some issues registering the stuff. On my computer though it is working fine. Live sports and movies and stuff, I think I can see what cord cutters are saying. Thing is, someone else is paying for this shit to keep it running but other than that, this is a fine replacement.

Plex is taking over from Kodi now. You can share all your media with your friends, or signup to someone's server with all their movies and Tv for a few quid a month. You can also share their sports and tv channels.

I just picked up a MAG250 IPTV box. had one a few years ago and was paying 30 quid a month. I am not paying £45 a year and getting 900 channels instead of 50.

I have loads of US and Canadian channels too.

Yeah but I'd rather just utilize the free options. the paid add ons give sports in HD but Phoenix already does that. And I'd been streaming from third party sites before that which were grainy versions of SD, so its still a step up for me.

I did look around more and saw that people have their servers filled with TV shows seasons in SD and HD both. Movies too. Although it can take a ridiculous amount of steps of navigating menus and such to get there, it's still a good deal.

And why would you spend so much on a set top box? Did the Nexus Player not go down to like $50 USD everywhere else? I got it during the fire sale for $25 and once I get Kodi on that, it'll really be a steal.

Is Plex the same thing as Kodi, just a media center? Are the add ons the same?

Nexus Player can't handle IPTV like a MAG250. I get 900 channels, including all the Premium SKY, HBO etc.

Plex is a media centre. It doesn't work the same as Kodi. You can add other people's servers and stream all their media. It's easier for IPTV.

I see. Now that seems complicated for me. And I'm not a true cord cutter. I mostly watch sports live on third party streams, now in HD with Kodi. And TV shows I watch the newest ones on Hulu and older ones on Netflix or HBO or something.

I might watch two episodes of a show a day. 20 mins each that's 40 mins of TV and that's usually while I'm eating.

I don't participate in slacktivism. The refugees don't deserve asylum, people should listen to cops regardless of what you feel their powers should or should not be. If someone with a gun tells you to stop, get down, etc., you do just that. I'm not picketing outside in the cold because someone has a "fuck the police" mentality and then proceeds to get fucked by said police for not listening to them and people want change.

The reason for the questions being made about the refugees is the following- We've all seen the pictures of cities and towns being destroyed. Most recently being Syria. This has been happening for years but the "problem" has only been shown on the MSM very recently. Not only that some of these refugees are seen with brand new smartphones and carefully crafted fake passports. It's not black and white and anybody who takes this for a religious war is being played. They are trying to incite wars in E. Europe.

I hear popping from the Gun Club near-by while I type this. The frequency and the duration has risen considerably in the past several months.

Some people do it because it's a toy. Some do it because of current events. But most, and I hope, are doing it because they just don't trust the fuckers in Washington.

I suppose you know all of this - so why the twisted post above?
Who's trying to incite a war in Eastern Europe? The US? Or ISIS? I'm confused.

lol I might have to sleep on this. Otherwise I don't know or care enough about foreign affairs to not think you're wearing a tinfoil hat.

I know SOFI used to talk about the Jaw Up or some kind of activity tracker but I think the FitBit has grabbed the marketshare for those fitness devices.

Anyone got any experience with them? I see them on sale for $110 and I have no intention of getting one right now, but it got me thinking. Just the other day my phone automatically downloaded Google Fit on my phone, or maybe updated it, but I didn't know I had it installed.

What add ons are you using.

I added a bunch but some ended up requiring a pay account.

I use 1Channel, Channel Pear, Genesis, Phoenix, Sports Devil, Stream All The Sources, and The Royal We.

The Woody Channel on Phoenix has all the sports streams I need. Every thing else just has as blend of links to TV shows 20 mins or so after they air.

lol I think you were the one who did it so only you can be so sure of that.

In other news, the Android thread is also on its last legs. I figured it to be the one thread that never really died, along with this one. But it seems like it.
