I didn't like Linkin Park after The Hybrid Theory. The Reanimation album was good too, but that was a remix sort of thing. If I'm not mistaken, Hybrid is still considered as their defining album because of its success as well as its content. I think that's what got people into their music 15+ years ago.

Aside from that, I don't know much about LP because I didn't keep up with them but it's sad, from what you said, that he was reaching out in his own way and people romanticized it by saying it made his music better by influencing it. I only know about mental health only from school and even then I know just the tip of the iceberg but the help is there but people don't seek it. It seems every person has a unique path to get to it and all you can do "advertise" it to let them know it's there. Never dealt with it, certainly not at the level of attempting it, and the people I know of that did it were not close to me at all. So it's all "theory" to me instead of experience.

I had to unfollow Ristolable on Twitter after he got too political and spammed his timeline with posts about the election. His Twitter, so he's free to do as he pleases but I couldn't handle it.
Yeah I absolutely lost my mind over that election. I would've unfollowed me too. I mean, yes the election was upsetting to me but I let it dominate my timeline and I shouldn't have done that. I got some actual Obama people to follow me through those tweets though, so that was cool for me. But yeah, it was very much the same thing all the time and I pretty much lost my creative flow, if I ever had one. I haven't regained whatever momentum I had to this day, even though I've stopped tweeting about politics. In my defense I was going through some difficult things at the time. But, bottom line, I sucked and still do.

Anyway I missed you Coonie. How ya been man?

That's cool. Seems like the rest of the media has picked up on that insanity too, so you weren't alone. I'm actually upset I didn't at least check your Twitter every so often to see if you went back to your old style. I'll check it out now.

Anyone watch any good shows lately?

Just saw American Vandal on Netflix after a lot of people said it was hilarious and not what they initially thought it was and it turned out to be pretty well done.

I had heard of Brickleberry in passing but I'm giving it a watch right now too and it seems like a funnier Family Guy.

I'll get around to season 2 of Stranger Things, too.

I don't. I could never get in to super hero shows or movies. I feel like I'm missing out but I also don't have any inclination to watch them. It's an odd philosophy, but...

I had the same sentiment about GoT but I binged the shit out of it this summer and in time for season 7 and didn't regret it, so maybe I'll come around to superhero/comic book shows.

I've watched "The 100" and.. "Riverdale" with my girlfriend. I liked The 100.
Other than that I can recommend Black Mirror, Suits and Homeland if you haven't watched also. That's pretty much all the TV shows I ever watched since the original A-team as a kid back in the 90s. I have no clue what people watch though.

I stopped watching The Flash, Arrow, Lucifer, etc. They fell off last season. The only recent new shows I like are The Brave, which is pretty good, and SEAL Team, which is ok.

Didn't some exec from Arrow and The Flash recently get caught up in the latest sexual harassment scandal?

Anyone watching Mr Robot?

I've loved every season so far, despite many dropping out after the first season and many not liking the second season.

But this third season has been intense, and none more so than the last two episodes. I still have trouble connecting the dots on who's on whose side and what the goal is, but damn if it isn't one hell of a thriller.

What the hell is happening with the US government ? Feels like the US peeps are getting fucked big time these days and there are changes on so many fields that are taking the country back to the stone age, and nobody's doing a thing.

I read some of the US news and especially lol at the FCC. It feels like they're doing whatever they want, and feel like they can. People being outraged and it not doing shit, people bringing up that it affects the whole world - it actually doesn't. It only concerns US customers of American broadband providers and new businesses. The only thing the vote allows is transfer of wealth from US individuals and businesses to US broadband providers without FCC being able to intervene. Lol at it being completely public that Verizon lobbied for the vote and everyone thinking it's completely normal. If it happened in Europe the FCC chairman would be in jail, Verizon chairman would get prosecuted and the company would get hit by fines that would kill it. Meanwhile in reality a day after the vote Verizon already started throttling Youtube and Netflix and everything's fine.

I thought it's enough that people are scared to travel there these days, afraid to get shot, bombed or even worse - sick there. I grew up with a very good image of America, with a lot of smart people moving there to do cool things and it being peaceful. But now, holy shit! I also like how Trump is fighting with immigration by making sure nobody wants to live there.

How are you guys feeling about this? I'd be really pissed.

Most shows are terrible right now. I've even stopped watching Fresh Off the Boat. Bright on Netflix sucked, so of course they'll make it into a show. Haven't watched The Chi yet. 9-1-1 on Fox blows, so it'll probably be a hit. LA to Vegas on Fox, bad. S.W.A.T on CBS, bad. Ghosted and The Gifted on Fox, bad.

Whaaaat? FOtB is an interesting watch. Nothing groundbreaking but I can relate to a lot of what goes on there. The light hip hop references are pretty nice too. LA to Vegas? I love the pilot; I dunno the actor's name, but he's hilarious. I still get the vibes it'll be cancelled soon but it's not bad.

Ghosted is alright, too. I like Robinson and Adam Scott and while the show feels like it resolves the issue rather quickly and abruptly, it's still entertaining to watch when I have time.

I really like Superstore. That's about the only show I watch the night it airs, albeit not live. That and Shameless, which just had its season finale.

Also, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. I watch that same day.
