First of all I won't even ask when a Brit has left 'a bad taste' in your mouth....
Secondly, where did you get the idea that Brits think they're better than everyone else. I suppose some of the English think England is a bit better than it is but, then again, to be fair, Britain did have one of the greatest empires the world has ever seen.
I'd love for you to listen to Scots talk & then try to tell me this. Scottish people are so down to earth that they don't even properly acknowledge their own great achievements.
On the other hand, America do think they're the bee-knees. And it ain't just me that thinks this, check WoW. The majority of those outwith America know it & even some on your own soil realize it....
