I gotta agree, I would rather have no album than this album, unless Amaru wanna do some real shit with Pac's music then they can leave it alone.
I dont think they will release the OG's in a Box Set since that would make one expensive package, they could atleast release em gradually. But that will be done long after the vaults have been scraped clean and remixed to sound like this junk Eminem has fucked.

I think they have made really bad production decisons on the new album, they should leave it up to death row, they would know what to do, shyt, look at all eyez on me and 7 Day Theory albums, were they not tight?

Yes they were but they were also organised by Tupac not really Death Row. I really beleive this album had massive influence by Interscope on who to put on, it doesnt make sense to me.

I said not to get me started on Deathrow but lets face it that label is wack, and the production is ass. The Producers from Makaveli arent producing anymore Ironically the producers Tupac used for makaveli were back room producers no one else at Deathrow would fuck with.

All Eyez on me is all pretty much Johnny J and Daz, Daz is garbage production and music wise since i dunno ..... 1998 and Johnny J has said ( supposedly ) that hes done with making new Pac music and hes rolling with Napoleon ( from what ive read i might be wrong ).

So that leaves who?? even the none Em songs on the new CD i dont like. Ooooh and about Deathrow lol Just cause AMARU/INTERSCOPE achieved the impossible and made a worse CD then the NUU MIXES dosnt make the NUU MIXES ANY LESS A PIECE OF SHIT. Nuu Mixes I was actually FOOLISH enough to buy, later that day I gave it to a homeboy who then gave it to his homie and then god knows where that peice of trash ended up lol.

Deathrow is ass they dont release new music just Con the faithfull below gold status fan base they have left with recycled shit that I have had since the early and mid 90's Crooked I left and they got Kurupt ( who is possibly the wackest mother fucker other then camron nethier of them make a lick of sense.... except camron can ride a beat lol kurupt just screams ADOLF GOTTI BINLADEN .. BITCH ... IM COMG WITH A SAWN OFF SHOTGUN ... BITCH ... MOther fucker .. Mother fucker .. ROSCOE SCOLDIE SCOE mother fucker ... and continues on that path for a whole song). Eastwood a young dude with a boarder line high pitched voice with absolutely NO SKILLS what so ever. And Danny Boy ...... ????

see so I really dont like this whole Deathrow woudl do better idea, I was a huge fan but the more you look into that label an the more you see what happend all they did was successfully pic tupacs pockets dry. And still want to today, DR gota TUPAC DVD and just recently released a LIVE CD lol. DR is no better then anyone else they just claim to be "REAL" lol.

That's just what gives these fuckers like Eminem and G-Unit their chance to cash off Tupac...cause us fans can't let go...we buy everything they put out just cause we wanna hear the man speak. Tupac was such a personality which u come by only a few times in a century. He spoke for the people who needed a voice, and he always stayed true...till the end.

The box set of all the OG's would be a great end for this, cause this eminem bullshit needs to stop...but i doubt it'll never happen.
But you can't blame us fans for loving the man so much.

Great Post Homie

Agree with you a 110%

Propz
Now, the question is, who is wrong now?

The Fans, who loved the man so much that it's hard to let him go. He was like a brother u never got to meet.

or

The people making money off of the mans legacy by exploiting our fragile hearts.
I say the people that are PACS FAMILY AND FREINDS that hav power and influence on what happens with Pacs Legacy.

Although I can see how fans(Not Real Fans) can be blamed for this SHIT that comes out cuz they Fuckn Buy It.

I reckon Amaru should just release it all. That way the fans can decide if they want to buy it. I would. But I respect that some people wont want to buy it like you. At least this way we have a choice.

WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why ?????????????

When Nirvana how's done it, along with others.

Nirvana - With The Lights Out (Box Set 3 CD's and 1 DVD)
Price $59.98 (US)

Expensive mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Thats the sort of thing I would want in a Tupac OG Box Set

I thought about this shit for a while, and i came to a conclusion....tho it's long lost now...

I wish the Greatest Hits would've been the last release from Tupac, with Changes being the last single. This song had such a huge impact for the world that it's amazing, and the song really showed the world who Tupac really was...this was the kind of image i wish the world would remember him for. With this single and the album Tupac was on top of the world for the last time...what a chance for the world to say Rest In Peace...think about it?!

After that it's been all downhill...Still I Rise was still ok, but that's it...the releases after that ain't been Tupac no more, just some imaginery hero all these different producers have tried to make...

I think the box set of the og's would have been a good idea like years after the Greatest Hits dropped...like maybe this year. But only as a gift for the true fans who still miss him, not any commercial release bullshit.

But like i said, Changes is the song i wanna remember Tupac by...

And how many were sold? I would think it'd be more profitable to sell them seperately, although I'd buy the box set, I doubt many fans would be able to. Who knows though its possible I just doubt they'd do it like that.

On par to become the best selling box set in history. At least in the opening, it did.

First week it sold 130,000 copies...X4 for RIAA purposes since it was 3 CDs and a DVD...

That's 520000 individual CDs sold in the opening week, which is really damn good. And this guy's been gone for TEN years, longer than 'pac, and his influence is basically the entire alternative genre, which was nonexistent before he dropped "Smells LIke Teen Spirit."

If you market it right and put it out properly they will come. Unfortunately, Amaru has done such a bad job of whoring out shitty remixes that this OG boxset is going to be seen as a pathetic moneygrab. Geffen, on the other hand, did not release a single studio album of new material for 10 years, and when it was time they delivered, truly for the fans.

Half the titles on there are for songs that previously were known to be unknown titles officially, yet they have used bootlegger titles for the purposes of this release. and the entire DVD footage from concerts/shows is all from fans' recordings.

Wasup everyone I have been here a while but have been a silent member, I have been visiting the site since I first found it on a internet search of "Tupac Shakur", I cant remember exactly when but it was a Long time ago. IT was easily round '96 97 ish.

I found this site and 2paczone.com and makaveli4ever.net and of course this sites rival Madeniggaz.net. This site of the three of them has stayed up. 2paczone lol i haven't checked since 97, Makaveli4ever closed down and Madeniggaz was closed due to lack of interest in its forum community and lack of hits.

I'm sorry to hear of your on going legal troubles from those who would like to destroy your image and the sites status and credibility.

Which brings me to my main subject, this new fucking TUPAC ALBUM.
It seems that what is happening to your site has already happend to the source of the sites existence, Tupac's Music. I Downloaded this cause i was skeptical about a Eminem produced TUPAC CD as I have been a Tupac fan since '95 this album succeeded in pissing me off.

So we have had a few good albums for which I'm thankfull, R U STILL DOWN is dope, Still I rise was cool, UTEOT was the best one they have dropped it sounded, felt like a Tupac CD. I can still rock that shit in the ride to this day. Better Dayz lol well that CD coulda had a Better Outcome cause save a few songs the album was aight, you could see interscope and Afeni ( I sincerely hope I am wrong in this conviction no disrespect to Tupacs Moms ) creeping in the Commercial mainstream artists and producers although it wasn't as bad as you would think as the songs were still heavy hitting.

And now Don't even get me started ON Deathrow Records ( a label i was fond of in the 90's and was a renewed fan when they picked up Crooked I ) that is a whole differant rant.

This is growing long, but I sorta feel if I am going to say this It might as well be here where the members will most appreciate it.
This new Tupac CD if you could call it that is worse then anything I could have possibly thought. I didn't like one song not even the ones people thought were good. The album was simply put COMPLETE GARBAGE. OLD early 90's PAC vocals sped up to extremely ammature wack 8mile beats over and over and over again, with the likes of GUNIT and Obie Trice and even Em himself ......... now This simply was the worse Idea since Greedo Shooting first ( greedo being the Green dude Han solo wasted in Starwars which was changed in the Starwars Spec Edition in '97).

also to change his words so he speaks of Eminem and Gunit ?
LOL Who the fuck gave that order?
Please surely to god tell me Afeni wasn't at the helm ofthis project?
Has she spoken on the album? Why was this aloud to take place?
I mean Deathrow sucks ass I had faith in the fact that Afeni was Doing all she could for her sons legacy and this trashy piece of shit is what is on shelves?

Anyway that was a few thoughts from a long time but quiet member of this community and a long time for almost since it was first put up, As a old visitor to this site, Thanks for all the Tupac information and news you guys have supplied and the dedication to my favorite HipHop artist.

But this bullshit CD is inexcusable and I'm sorry if this is the 1 000 000'th complaint on these forums about this album, But i would like to think I didn't complain simply voiced a informed and backed up opinion of this CD and its damage to a otherwise great artist.

I wish they would just stop releasing Tupac Cd's and let the man rest. I mean Tupacs mother on Primtime ( a video upped by a member here ) said that Tupacs Soul needed to be free, that she knew his soul deserved to be free and she rejoiced to be the one to set him free?

Wasn't Tupacs Soul in his music? and where exactly has he been set free?

just my thoughts ... Peace
Good stuff right there, i totaly agree 100% I dont need no more Cd's if i comes 2 these : loyal 2 the game : Sample me up shit

I think most fans would be able to buy a box set for 60 dollars. Honestly if you don't have the money to by a box set for 60 dollars you need to get up off your butt and get a job. :thumb:

You gotta be joking right? Until The End Of Time is a crappy cd
I seriously Beg to Differ, Why cause it had softer Hooks?
The beats were good, the music behind Tupacs Lyrics sounded like PAC music, good examples, Letter to my Unborn, Ballad of a dead soldier infact only like 3 songs out of that whole Double CD felt out of place.

So why was UTEOT so bad ?

Cuz They tryed to blend to much RnB singing crap, we all know on all eyez on me and me against the world and other cd's, Pac had singers and some soft beats on his albums but for the most part they were tastful but Until The end of Time juss over does it and trys to pull Rap music into RnB. Until The end of Time= Good Cd, but one of the worst after his death in the sence of the stuff they had to work with was pretty good and they ended up putting weak over production.
