This was a close one folks. Some of my loved ones almost got a really bad phone call tonight. I was doing about 55 on a local road and some apparently blind man decided to make a profoundly insane left turn which, at my speed, would certainly have killed me. Or at least put me in the ICU. Maybe he thought he had time to make the turn? He did not have time. Maybe he didn't see me. I don't know. But I saw him at the *very* last second and STOMPED on the brakes. Narrowly missed him. I am freaked out by the closeness of the call. Closest call of my life, which will now continue. Wow.

I think that guy would have gotten the worst of it getting hit in the side by your front end. That exact thing happened to me once. About 55-60 mph, guy makes a turn right in front of me. I hit his back passenger side and sent him spinning. He was fine and I was fine and kinda enjoyed it, except for the damage. I was like, "Yeah, muthafucka, let's do that again!"
Oh that reminds me, I forgot to add it to my other thread. The day after I broke up with my other ex I was driving to see a friend and a woman pulled out of her drive way, one of those long ones with units on either side, no idea how fast she was going but she hit the back of my car, spun me around into on coming traffic, I managed to swerve it back onto my side and miraculously perfectly slide into a parallel park between two cars and inches away from a tree.
Oh and she wasn't licenced or a citizen.
