I would buy the project, its worth its value. Listening to quality music is a dying breed in this day and age and it worth its high cost.

I may download music, but I dont sell it for $300 a CD, or resell it period.

Dante is making money selling other peoples music. He is acting like a music distributor and should there for act like one and at least pay the artists that feature on their music, or their estates. If not, he should stop making money off of it.

Downloading something for free, and profiting off of other peoples hard work, are two totally entirely separate things.

And I know your next comment will be "oh well he paid for the songs in the first place so he has a right to resell them" or something like that, but thats bullshit.

Thats like saying we should leave crack dealers alone and support them because they paid for the coke they turned into crack so they have a right to deal it. Or we should think it is ok to bootlegg any CD as long as we bought the one original copy from a store somewhere, and that store was a bootlegg anyway because it's not like Dante buys these songs from Afeni, Amaru, The Outlawz or anyone associated with Tupac's estate in any official capacity.

Pac fans are so die hard about Tupac's message to the point where everyone was screaming fuck Bad Boy and all this and all that yet when it comes to Dante you all ignore this:

Tupac did not like bootleggers. Tupac would not like what Dante is doing. Dante is stealing from Tupac, his mother, the Outlawz, and robbing fans of the possibility of these songs coming out in TRUE REAL CD QUALITY not Dante's little Adobe Audition remasters.

Why would Amaru release these in OG format if Dante's already hit their fan base for $300 a pop for the same songs?

I cant even believe any self respecting person who says they are a Tupac fan can support these crazy priced bootleggs after seeing that film clip.

i remember back in the day around here, i used to get so pissed at how much of a smart ass and cocky bastard that dante was... he never aimed anything at me personally but i saw on a daily basis how sad it was to be someone so in love with attention that he paid ridiculous amounts of money for music that will probably leak eventually even if its 20 years from now.... i guarantee i enjoy pac as much as the next man, but i'll be damned if im gonna give that thief a cent for something that he doesnt rightfully own....he was always trying to make himself feel better by trying to belittle others, or so it seemed..... but that was so long ago, i think it was dante im thinking of

If you wanna get really technical, selling a 2pac collection of so called OG's without approval from his label and payment of royalties to relevant parties is: THEFT. Yeehaa!! Whether you pay for this project or download it for free its THEFT. Really, the top record labels in the world can't prevent free downloads (theft), hows Dante gonna prevent free downloads (theft)? I'll tell you what, he'd make a shit load of more money if he can figure that out.

Buying the collection for $300 is up to an individual. Thats a real load of money no matter what part of the world you live in for a music collection. Unless all of these tracks sound as good as 'soon as I get home' on Pac's life, why should I bother spending my $300 on this?

You spend your hard earned $300 if you want, its the beauty of a free world. I love Pac to the end but, I'd rather buy me an Air Jordan countdown package for $10 more. I guess its all about taking real adavantage of 2pac fans. So, if you find a customer base, milk it for what its worth. Its nothing personal, strictly BUSINESS. In conclusion, it's Dante's business not my business. I'ma mind my fucking business, coz Dante's business aint got shit to do with me

Ahhh the good old days when Dante would take a shit quality rip and run it through volume normalization or compression, roll off the bottom end and noise in an EQ, and claim it was a cleaner new source he could charge $300 for.

I miss those days. What the hell is Dante up to now anyway?

I wasn't active on the scene when it happened, but something along the lines of some of his haters got hold of his fathers memorial website that was set up in relation to his death I think. It got overrun by Dante hates. One can only speculate the problems that incurred in his life. He went on to be very, very discreet afterwards. Then some years later he sold his collection, and I would be surprised if he never dips in but I would expect he no longer operates as "Dante". He's gone, and other Dantes have taken his place
