Again, I knew it was a typo, I wasn't serious.
At work. A guy who works in Engineering moved here from India and broke the fixings on the seat and made rather a mess, very often. He was asked to use it as it is used in the western world (is there another word I should use?). He didn't. In the end they installed a harness for him. An engineering joke I assume. Not sure if he still poops like that. That is one example I remember.
I also once read that pooing in a hole is healthier for your digestive tract than sitting on a toilet. It allows you to "empty" more of your intestines. That is why those in developing countries suffer less with IBS and IBD. Although I suspect the issue could also be diet and more than likely (Giving Casey's argument some weight) the consumption of Dairy and Meat.
