Producers Of Tupac Film Eying Actors — Who do you think should star?

J.D. Williams no doubt!

He was in The Wire, Oz, Pootie Tang, Snipes and also the musicvideo for GHETTO GOSPEL...

It's about damn time that dude got his own movie and not small parts.....

This why I believe Wesley Snipes fits the role perfectly. He looks very much like Tupac same height but heavier. He has spontonaety and charisma. He fucking played Nino Brown and is great in films like Sugar Hill, he's a dedicated actor and is psyched when he is in character.I'd rather see Snipes who has a track record of playing a bad ass rather than Will Smith or Denzel.
Wesley Snipes as a young thug?!?!?!? dude is like 40 PLUS years old... No; JD WILLIAMS, peoples!

i don't really have an opinion about it. let's just hope it's a big name talented actor and not some half-ass budget actor.

Y'all got 5 choices:

I forgot some real ass good actors, here's the top 5:

1. JD WILLIAMS
2. STICKY FINGAZ (Belive that!!!)
3. OMAR EPPS
4. FREDRO STARR
5. MEKHI PHIFER

Ain't no competition, these niggaz'll murk all competition in a heartbeat

And oh remeber that this movie is about a YOUNG THUG, y'all peoples is retarded wanting to cast Will Smith, Denzel and Wesley Snipes... Yeah Stick Fingaz might be round 30 (not Sure) however he can easily go for 21 as well as Fredro Starr...

If they do pick an actor that looks like pac; Jevon Jones or Goran Grice would be a good chocie cause they have experience. I don't want that fake ass 50 cent, em, or gay unit in the movie either. But Ja Rule is down with Hussein Fatal and repects pac to death. i think he would add something to the movie.
Killuminti 2 the fullest!

they should get a previously unknown ACTOR to play the role. if they want to be sellouts they will get a familiar face to sell their movie.
which is what they will probably do anyways.
watch. they will give it to 50 Cent.

and another thing. i dunno why you guys are excited about this because you've been unhappy with every single fucking thing that has been released that was even remotely 2pac related since he died with an exception of 1 or 2 things.

i hope he wrote a good script. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he did. but if its bad, hollywood will do a good job of getting together and turning into into a piece of crap.

I think they should discover a new great actor, I think it'll bring a fresh feel to the movie. If they give it to a known actor you'll think of their past movies or your perception of them, also if theyre big actors they'll need to pay out and I'm guessing they wont. If it someone new you'll only go by what you see, ofcourse he has to be good.
As mentor roles I think Denzel or Samuel L Jackson - Your bound to get a great performance from those guys no matter the personality of the character. And Omar Epps is great so if theres a place he could do it.
