Snap chat only gives you a few seconds to view the photo or video then deletes it. Although I believe there is still a tmp file on your phone somewhere.

Fair point. You use your camera to grab the first one. A photo of the screen. Quality may be bad, but it's a backup, just in case she decides not to send any more.
