This is my thread

If you want to see a good medical emergency room show, The Pitt, on Max is very realistic, though lab results come back a bit too soon.

Other shows I'm watching:

The Agency (Paramount+) - spy stuff
Dexter: Original Sin (Para+) - I'll watch anything Dexter
On Call (Prime) - police stuff
Doc (Fox) - OK
Cross (Prime)- watchable
Dune: Prophecy (liked the movies)
The Day of the Jackal (Peacock) - great for Peacock
Nobody Wants This (Netflix) - I'll watch anything with Kristen Bell
Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage (CBS) - Got caught up watching this spin-off of Young Sheldon, though I never watched that.
Of course, The Penguin was awesome, but a think a limited mini-series.
Bad Monkey (Apple+) - saw one episode, looked good
Dark Matter (Apple+) - renewed for 2nd season
Sugar (Apple+ ) - Colin Penguin plays a PI. Good show slipping under people's radar.
Tracker (CBS) - cool
3 Body Problem (Netflix) - very good
The Vince Staples Show (Netflix) - funny but cancelled after one
Hijack (Apple+) - coming back for one more season
Citadel (Prime) - waiting for this spy show to come back after forever
The Night Agent (Netflix) - good
Beef (Netflix) - name is terrible, show is good
The Diplomat (Netflix) - just wanted to
Wednesday (Netflix) - Not bad or sure if coming back
Andor (Disney+) - waiting for this next season forever
The Terminal List (Prime) - So far, ok, but I know someone on it, and I love Special Ops stuff, so I'll keep watching. Speaking of which:
Special Ops: Lioness (Para+) - like
Bosch: Legacy - love
The Lincoln Lawyer -
like
Severence - liked 1st season but too annoying to continue
From (EPIX) - good but never-ending
Resident Alien (Syfy) - hilarious but played out
The Rookie (ABC) - usually good

Love Chicago anything. Chicago PD, Chicago FD, Chicago Med and Chicago Fed. Just waiting for Chicago High School Teachers. More no-shows than students. On the edge of your seat human drama.

Shoot, this deep freeze and Trump policy is putting a real damper on my green tech portfolio. jk

A quick look through that list and I didn't see St Denis Medical. New comedy on NBC from the guy that did Superstore and, I think, had a hand in The Office. He also did American Auto, which was cancelled inappropriately.

I have heard of The Pitt, I'll give it a shot. I am always aversive to drama shows, especially medical ones. Closest I got was The Knick, which was very good. And Scrubs, which was a mix of comedy and drama. Also supposed to be one of the more accurate medical shows.

I've fallen behind on shows I watched and new ones that have come out. 2023 was a tough year and I had put all shows aside by the Spring 2023 and never quite got back. My weekly, braindead shows, like Family Guy, have built up quite a backlog of episodes on Hulu. I haven't seen the latest season of Fargo and The Bear, both of which I watched as new episodes were released.

I also saw that the Frasier revival was not renewed past the second season and Paramount is looking to shop it around.

When I get home from work and am eating, I just watch some show that doesn't require brain cells. In 2022 and in to 23, I went back to classic shows I had never watched and watched those slowly. I did Cheers and Frasier that year. Last year I did King of Queens and started Raymond. Still on Raymond now. But somehow those shows seem easier to watch than new shows.

The Office Superfan episodes released the 7th or 8th season last year. I think there's just one more season left for them to do Superfan episodes for and then they'll have done the entire series.
