This is my thread

I know what killed Gene Hackman. The damn government hacked his gene.

Anybody else cringe when you see a dystopian advertisement like "here are top automatic dog feeders for busy pet parents"? holy fucking shit

Seriously, anybody above 60 that has gender pronoun on their profile is not worth your time. Nobody cares.

Yes. Oprah gets to keep her gas stove top while you pay taxes on cow farts.

Dire wolf? What? They're making artificial hearts that beat. That's for those low IQ douchebags that want to go to Mars.

Time for a sequel. Armageddon 2: The freedom of a pop star, Oprah's friend and Bezo's girlfriend.

Coming Soon.

Went to the grocery store yesterday (4/9), the first thing I noticed was lack of shopping baskets by the entrance. The baskets were all at the check-out by the exit. Way to go minimum wagers! Picked up a half-gallon of milk. The date on the carton reads 4/4. Pick up the carton next to it and the date read 4/25.

Holy shit dude.

Why is America so careless? WTF is going on? Why is America trying to kill me? Who is Trump and Putin? Why can I not have smarter people around me? Why are they trying to kill me?

LMAO

I can just picture them at the round table saying all this shit. Democracy lives! LOL

I wonder if curbside pickup will ever go away or, more likely, be put behind a paywall.

I've been going to an Amazon Fresh near work the last two months and curbside is such a great thing. I've used it before at other places but it's usually Target or Walmart or Best Buy or something. Some restaurants do it, too.

But never for groceries. Like, full-on, $70 worth of groceries. Some local grocers offer it through Instacart, but that has its own markups and fees. Others will do it for a $30, or something, minimum, which isn't hard but also isn't ideal if you want just $20 of oddities like a few veggies and a gallon of milk.

But Fresh doesn't have a minimum and the prices are almost 50% less than Target or local franchises. Not on everything but soda? Their in-house branded prepared foods? A lot cheaper.

It's an odd to be excited about but it saves quite a bit of time and I just order on the Amazon website while at work. It's one of the few good things that came from COVID and I'm surprised retailers haven't cut the service or put it behind a store membership, like Walmart+ or Target RedCard or Amazon Prime.

I went to a farmer's market once. All the produce had photos and names of people who grew them.

It was awesome and I was like "do they cuddle?" No. Sol I bought a big ol' daikon raddish and went home.

I think some people dislike grocery shopping so as long as there's money in it, the curbside will continue with or without robots.

Of course, the daikon was grown by somebody like this

Over-70, living in the mountains, maintaining the pipe for essential spring water, growing what they eat, selling the surplus to make a few bucks.

It's hard work and I'm sure their old houses are crawling with creepy crawlers but with a little touch of TV magic, they seem healthier and happier than me who is half their age.

PS. My uncle got fired from his management position at a corporate restaurant after giving "expired" meat to the minimum wage Hispanic workers.

God Bless America. What the fuck is an Instacart?

I recommend Jin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jin_(TV_series)

I haven't read the manga but the TV production is top notch in Japanese standards. I guess it's on Netflix. Pirate away if not.

Not to insult your intelligence but I understand that medical "progress" is important and surely you realize we are headed in the wrong direction.

Peace

Edit:

My favorite part is Saki's heart beating faster when she sees Jin's stitching work. You know, sewing being a "womanhood" back then.

I'm not a big fan of Sakamoto Ryoma. He's way too glorified in today's Japan.

Funny how the queers at KARE11 refused to practice "journalism" when the Pulse nigh club shooting happened but they're so motivated at random niggas getting killed. It's called economic hardship and the same fucking queers tell me how the economy is doing great !!!#@#@!!!!!!.

Now the same queers are telling me how awesome it is for an 80 year old to be driving school busses to make ends meet and that female has"outlasted men" Hallelujah!!!!! - Keep duct taping your tits flat.

Do these people have no shame? Oh wait, it's just government propaganda.

American Media in a nutshell. You're not a journalist if you are afraid of the truth.

EDIT:

I walked at least 4km a day to and from elementary school everyday, even in freezing temp. Cry me a river.

That's on flat land so I was fortunate.

'We were really stunned' | Twin Cities arts community reacts to NEA grant cuts

Translation: Our tax or whatever money they create was funding "transgender puppet shows" in South America in the name of "Art". I went to an local "art" show once. A smelly hipster had a bunch of walmart pallets strewn about in a big room, and at first I thought the place was under construction or something but I realized they were passing it off as art when I saw a smelly hipster telling children to not play around the precious pile of wooden pallets. I haven't gone back to the "museum" since. I blame the CIA.
