Either way, some dudes here need to date or maybe even fall in love with a religious girl and see how that turns out.
I can't say I saw any differences between religious and non-religious girls. Maybe the first kind were acting a bit "better". I think it's okay until they turn fanatic, start going to Church every holiday or something. I don't know anyone like that though.

Duke is the only one I respect for giving me a genuine answer. :)

I am not talking about differences of the females. Are you going to unwillingly sit at Church and bitch about it behind your wife's back? Holy god what will you do with the children when they arrive? I'm seeing this unfolding in front of my own eyes. I have the popcorn ready.

A girl being religious doesn't mean she has to go to Church every sunday or at all in this case.
Most people I know hold their religion to themselves. The only sign of being religious in case of my exes was a "yes" answer to the question " are you religious?".

I've dated a bunch of girls too! and one religious girl who went to church with her family every sunday told me - you're going to hell for not believing. So I was like why are you with me? She says M.O.R. Money over Religion!

lol. I wouldn't date a girl like that (even without that money over Religion thing). But seriously, I don't even know people who act like this.
She probably wouldn't let you fuck her before the marriage either?

You think going to Church for every holiday is some sort of "religious gone too much" shit? LOL you haven't met real bible thumpers. What salty is talking about is stuff like this:

1. She will want to get married in a church and name a kid a BIBLE name like Abraham or some shit
2. She will force the kid to go to church every Sunday
3. She will seriously ask herself "What would Jesus do?" in decision making
4. She will pray before she goes to sleep in your bed
5. She will seriously get mad at you if you say "God-damn" or curse in general
6. Her parents will hate you for not being a man of "Good christian values" and thanksgiving dinners will suck
7. She will want to donate your money to christian/religious organizations
8. She will blame your misfortunes on lack of praying to God on your part

and the list goes on.

What money? You don't have money.

9. She will ask you if you read your Bible today. Everyday she will ask you this.
10. She will ask you if you prayed to God for guidance whenever you mention to her a problem you have.
11. She will ask you if you want her to pray with you about your problem.
12. She will tell you God is doing awesome things in her life when good things happen that to you is clearly due to cause and effect. When bad things happen, there's no talk of God.
13. Every time you do something nice for her or give her something, she thanks God.
14. With her Christian openness, she will constantly befriend people you would normally try to avoid.
15. She's very gullible and you constantly worry about her.

Well, that'd definitely be too much for any man who is not heavily religious.

In my opinion a normal religious person is someone who believes in a higher being and/or follows some specific moral rules that are basic in a specific religion (like 10 commandments).
Thinking "What would Jesus do?", seeing a huge correlation between real life failures and lack of faith, going to Church every sunday + forcing other people to go and most if not all other points you've mentioned is way too much and it's not healthy. And I've never heard about that naming kids after Biblical figures thing.
It's either obsession or mental illness and I don't know a single person with more than 1 point from these lists.

And I don't know a "religious" person in the US who doesn't have most of these points. Now you have an idea of why we atheists sound so angry sometimes. We're tired of lunatics having a say in things they know nothing about.

LOL.

I agreed with this part "And I don't know a "religious" person in the US who doesn't have most of these points" because it seems that masta's view of religious persons is different from the american view of religious persons. Also, Jokerman indirectly stated what I stated to Sebastian, that the anger for religion is misplaced. You're angry with the believers, not the religion.

I'm the same with films. If too many people like a film, I will tend to hate it simply because I hate it when people are sheep even if the film might not be that bad. For example, I'm boycotting Precious and I will not see it. It's not that it might not be a good film, it's that just because a fat black girl got fucked by her dad, it doesn't make it a good story. See, my anger is misplaced.

I was also furious at the fact that I couldn't find ONE person who had something critical to say about Slumdog Millionaire. It's not that fucking good. It's just that these idiots don't know that gypsies fuck kids up to make them pathetic so they can make money on the street. I've witnessed that shit in Bosnia lol it wasn't eye opening to me. Also, the whole love theme was corny as fuck.

I don't condone atheist' anger towards the believers and hence why I don't thank your or casey's posts.

Jokey, you can forget about that beer. I feel totally left out now. That's another 3 hours of crying to sleep in the planning.

Man, I didn't like slum dog millionaire at all. I was going into it expecting something, I don't know, indie maybe? And then I see some generic hollywood bullshit movie. I was pretty let down, especially with how everyone was raving about it.

Your comment sounds like religion itself is a good thing its just that people/believers discredit it by what they are doing in the name of their sprecific religion. Is it that what you mean to say?

If it is, i still dont agree with it.
