Well, he wasn't at his best at Schalke since they were starting him as a DM, which really isn't his thing. So, maybe that's why the price tag wasn't so high... At Sevilla he's being used as a deep-lying mid, which is why he's doing so well there with Medal as a holding mid taking care of the rest.

Yeah, Eduardo took a hit and he is doubtful for the match. Jelavic is better anyways for the formation we play. Dudu isn't meant to be the lone striker, nor is he as strong as Jelavic to take on defenders.

Barcelona should be champions now. Real Madrid pretty much have conceded that.

AC Milan beat Inter convincingly also.

And for Duke, Twente are top after beating PSV

i was surprised that AC Milan beat Inter so comprehensively. im happy though. Sampdoria have been free falling towards serie b since christmas. i dont think they have won a game since Pazzini and Cassano left.

The last time Sampdoria won, it was the 13th of Feb. A 3 - 1 victory over Bologna. Since then, they have lost 5 of their last 6, and drawing one of them against Fiorentina.

Could be worse though, they could be Bari, who haven't won a game since the beginning of January lol

well thats what happens when you sell yout two best players by far for pittance and replace them with shit.

they drew 0-0 away to Chievo today. Catania beat Palermo 4-0

Does Macheda start for them?

Anyway, Porto won the league today after beating Benfica 2-1. They have so far won 23 of 25 games, drawing the other two. I know people will say it's only Portugal, but that is some achievement, I fancy them for the Europa Liga also.

The El Clasico was a bit meh. Messi/C.Ronaldo didn't have good games really, Messi in the first half was shadowed very well by Pepe.

David Villa is going through a Fernando Torres moment right now, a sharper VIlla would've won the game at the death.

^^it was because of Mourinhos anti-football tactics. everytime a barca attacking player touched the ball you had Pepe going through the back of them. and not to mention this imaginary card waving, cynical fouling and diving. Mourinho has his stamp all over this team now which is a shame for a club like Real Madrid, a club that has a history of playing excellent football. im not saying Barcelona were angels either. Busquets sickens me but they always try to play football. Teams coached by Mourinho dont. He epitomises all that is bad about modern football imo.

Unfortunately, he has Real Madrid shaped and playing the anti football he wants now so i worry that they will do Barcelona over the 2 legs of the champions league. I really hope that doesnt happen though. i always admired Real Madrid as a club but not in recent years and not with this man over the team.

AC MIlan are looking good to win the Scudetto now. They beat Sampdoria 3-0 while Napoli and Inter both lost. Napoli lost 2-1 at home to Udinese while Parma beat Inter 2-0. Sampdoria fall into relegation zone now. they will be in Serie B next season i think. :(

To be fair, Messi did the card thing also. He has done it before also. But Real normally play decent football, just against Barca it's odd when they go anti-football when they have the talent to give Barca a real fright.

Ozil, C.Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Higuian, Benzema, Di Maria are fantastic players, they can attack Barcelona if they
believe it.

AC Milan apparently want Hulk. Why add another striker when the midfield needs some help?
