Perineum is the proper term. Other slang words include "grundle" and "taint."

But really, I'm gonna be looking for one soon and the iPhone 5 is going to be on my radar as well.

gooch, that's the one.

jelly bean is smooth, i like it. i can feel that it's faster, the apps "snap" open faster. i also like the notification changes. google now will be pretty cool, just going to need to go places more for it to really pick up habits.

Sony sent out invitations to their media event at the upcoming IFA in Berlin on August 29th and stated they would be unveiling something new. Of course, special thanks to the internet, we don’t have to wait that long to see what they might have in store. A new device called the Xperia LT30p Mint has surfaced and it comes stacked with specs: Runs OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.3-inch display (resolution of 1280 x 720), a 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD slot, NFC, 13MP camera that shoots 1080p videos, plus there’s a front-facing camera that captures 720p videos. In addition, the early review says the Mint has a unibody design and is a bit smaller than the Xperia S.

I'm happy that Sony use perfect (for me) specs - the dual core Krait (hopefully), cool cameras and Sony UI is hands down my favorite custom Android UI.

The problem I have with their phones is.. the "transitional phase" design team. Their phone designs suck and it's surprising considering that a year ago they released the Xperia Arc. I was hoping for things at least as good yet their new phones are thicker and bulkier-looking.

Look, even the Galaxy S3 looks good in comparison:

Another thing is the display quality. What the hell Sony, seriously. A company that used to be the leader at display technology can't even use a display that wouldn't suck in their own phone. Seriously, again it's the same old cheapest tft tn screen that I criticized a year ago in my Arc, that they later used in Xperia S and now this. Ridiculous.

Oh yeah. It's rumored that Microsoft Surface tablet will cost a thousand dollars. Still worth it? I think so. The only reason being is because to me it is much more than a tablet, it's what tablets want to be. Basically a full fledged computer in a tablet form. If I had the money I'd pick one up, well not the first ones but yeah you know what I'm saying

If it comes to Microsoft Surface I wouldn't buy it even for 700 which should be its price. It's not worth it. Mostly because windows 8 is a failed system. It should have been a tablet-only OS but instead it's not useful on any kind of devices.

With Windows 8 you can't do things you could do on your PC with previous iterations of Windows and you won't be able to do those things on a tablet. If you will be able to do basic "desktop" tasks on your tablet it won't be convenient on Windows 8.

I will be sticking to 7. It's a great operating system, they didn't really need to create a new one.
I agree. OR they could just tweak it and slightly redesign it for a new iteration of Windows. Windows 8 contains a lot of little, cool things that would make the desktop UI work faster, launch things faster and be snappier on older machines. They removed a lot of processes that simply don't have to be running.
They could use those and on top of that apply one of the numerous great UI prototypes that indie GUI developers proposed. My favorite being this:

Bam, a recipe for a good OS.

Yeah I'm over the whole keyboard thing. With pretty much every screen being 4"+ it's really not a need. Also, voice recognition software is getting really good and I see myself using it much more with whatever phone I get next
