So...

Preordered a G3 off contract with a wireless charger from Amazon.de for £500. Hoping a better offer will come up and I can cancel, but for now I have a G3. It is the 32GB / 3GB RAM version too.

I wouldn't expect a great review from an Apple Fanboy site. That's like AndroidCentral loving the 5S. It still scores high with The Verge, because it's hard to argue with the specs it has.

The LG G3 is easily the best phone available and will be for a year. Otherwise.... I wouldn't have fucking ordered it....!!!!

I just pre-ordered this;

Cause I'm a baller. Shot-caller. I'm a twenty-inch crawler.

That costs more than the G3.

Ease up. And I'm not sure The Verge counts as an Apple fanboy website.

I think the tone of my post was lost in the text. I wasn't emotional about it. I bought the phone I wanted and that I believe (and many others would agree) is head and shoulders above all others. My second choice would have been a Z2. After that I would have bought the LG G2, as it represents better value than all other remaining phones on the market.

I can't believe there's someone who reads the verge here :p The article itself is full of crap writing as well, with close to zero professional statements, which is a tradition there. I love it how they hated on the size, while it's about the same size as all other flagships, just the screen is bigger, lmfao. Also they added plastic as a con. The Verge is like you gave a redneck a smartphone for the first time and asked him to write a review.

Let's wait for an Anandtech or gsmarena review. The Verge reviews are best treated like they don't exist at all.
Anand is a little skewed towards HTC/metal phones, but their tests are best next to only gsmarena, who are also the least biased.

I love how small the bezel is on the G3. Did you guys see the Nexus 8 leaks? The bezel on that is just ridiculous. I'm excited to see how small the bezels are on the iphone so samsung and the other companies can finally do the same

Project Tango is a tablet that can map 3D imaging. It has almost countless professional usecases in industry, but perhaps not so much for the average consumer.

Pitts, what's the projected release date? I'm hoping my homeboy at LG will hook me up with a staff rate on one. I've just had to buy a Moto G as my N5 had to go for repair. Maybe I'll sell both and get a G3.

The battery life on the Moto G is insanely good. I don't quite understand how. I get about 3x the life out of it compared to the N5, which has a bigger battery.

Google IO is coming up at the end of the month. Aside from the Nexus 8, Android TV and Android Wear devices (guessing LG G Watch may launch there), I wonder what tricks they've got up their sleeve. Hangouts merging with Google Voice is probably a given.

That picture is quite misleading. All I can say is, when I went from the Galaxy S2 to the Nexus 4, I preferred the Nexus 4's screen.

Samsung's screens just aren't color accurate.
