Cool, I've been meaning to start watching that show, this gives me a reason
It's incredible. My dad is full of medical history and has spouted it off whenever he could in the past. I listened but was never gave it a second thought. To see that same history, procedures, people, etc. shown in action on the show really put what my pops said into perspective. So it hits on a personal note on a few levels for me.
I love Clive Owen's character, Dr. Thackery, but the coolest one is the Black doctor, Algernon Edwards. Guy has the classy black guy swag about him, even when the White folks around him are incredibly prejudice. Racism back then was different than what it is today. In a good and a bad way.
And man, the music on that show is amazing
and trippy. Spotify has the soundtrack for both seasons.
