Superstore (NBC)- good
Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life (Fox)- ok
Donny! (USA)- funny but I got bored by the 3rd episode. Should check out the 1st episode
The Shannara Chronicles (MTV)- pretty good
Zoe Ever After (BET)- with Brandy. Sucks badly.
Shades of Blue (NBC)- Lopez, not impressed, seen it all before but I'll keep watching
Angel from Hell (CBS)- some funny moments but too annoying for me
Teachers (TV Land)- sucks
Second Chance (Fox)- Love it
Billions (Showtime)- good of course
Angie Tribeca (TBS)- nah
War and Peace (BBC miniseries on A&E)- good
Legends of Tomorrow (The CW)- ok if you like the Flash and Green Arrow
The Magicians (SyFy)- 1st episode ok
The X-Files- has the same weaknesses as the original series but I'll watch
Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter (Adult Swim)- nah
Telenovela (NBC)- ok
Haven't seen Mad Dogs on Amazon yet
Looking forward to Lucifer, the Madoff miniseries and American Crime Story (People v. OJ)

Despite all my hype for Billions, I have yet to watch past the first three minutes of the pilot. I always hesitate on starting new dramas. I did the same with The Americans too.

Superstore is good. I like the characters and the humor. Nothing revolutionary but it works. I hope it doesn't get cancelled since I haven't been paying attention to the TV ratings of any show.

If I see Marvel or any other comic book superhero show or movie, I automatically just pass. I can't get past how ridiculous some of the superheroes are. So that includes Jessica Jones who I didn't even know was a heroine to begin with.

Black Sails started back up. Good start. Keeps building up steam after a real slow first season.

I heard some negative stuff about Galafinakis (sp. ?) new show, Baskets. FX shows have been real hit or miss with me, especially comedies. I'll get to it eventually.


Sunny has been great this season. I expected nothing less.

I'll have to give some of these Amazon shows a shot soon. What's that Nazi one? The Man in the High Castle? There was one more, too. I'll use Kodi to get access to those.

Also Vinyl starts back up soon too.

Didn't realize he was a British actor until I Googled the name to see who he was on the show.

Does anyone keep tabs on the number of shows the US "remakes" from the British version and vice versa?

Because I enjoyed the US version of The Office more, but I still realize it was based off a British version. Much like Shameless. There are plenty others but is it kind of a lop-sided affair where the Americans are just taking what they see fit and putting an "American spin" on them?

I really like the show. The laughs are very unexpected but I also haven't seen too many dark comedies so I don't know if that's how they're normally done. But I really like the premise of the show and I really like Romany Malco from Weeds and Think Like A Man.

Salty - I am actually very political and agree with some of what you have posted. I am involved in a lot of social and political groups and actively demonstrate. I don't feel the need to preach to 6 people on SH. I don't feel the need to post my agenda on FB. This will not lead to change. I am also aware that I am somewhat a hypocrite, I am in the top 1% of earners and at work I am a capitalist. However, my beliefs are more socialist. I watch very little TV besides sport, although I use the TV to get to sleep. I realise this is a bad habit but my TV is usually on from 11pm until 1 am or until I fall asleep.

That is my little share. I won't be justifying myself or my actions on here any further.

Considering the fact you are preaching to people about wasting their lives - you spend an hour going through posts quoting and trolling them, and I then spend 3 seconds deleting all of that and banning you. I have no life. I don't watch television. I don't go to the movies. I don't celebrate xmas. I don't watch sporting events. I'm fine with being "bored" and dying a lonely death. Just like the new programming you may encounter, you can encounter many new information about the world. So "at least anything new" doesn't seem like a good justification for polishing your playground like you have been doing. Again there's something new every day. Back to the development in the last few days. The outbreak of Zika is being attributed to a GM mosquito program funded by the Gates Foundation.

15 years ago, it seems like this kind of information would have taken months if not years to materialize and by then the story would have gotten the "too little too late" treatment. The information moves faster now and not for the better. Just so you know.... I don't allow my son to watch TV. But... How I bring up my son is private and purely my choice. I don't judge others who use the TV as a babysitter, it's hard to be committed to your family when you are tired from a 10 hour working day. Especially in the US when you get so few days off from work. I get 7 weeks holiday and 8 bank holiday days.

Communism from real life is filled with propaganda that ultimately makes the rich richer and you're conditioned to be happy with table scraps on the floor - also known as oligarcy. Just like society we live in now. I'm sure u can come with all the wrongs by yourself.

Money = Energy. Energy is currently finite. You are using energy that your son will not have the luxury of using.

So what are our options? Eliminating television entertainment in your life sounds good to me. It's much more easier than switching to bicycles or limiting yourself to locally produced goods.
