Missed connections:
So I'm chilling in Seattle thinking of SOFI. I checked FB to message him, but he deleted his account or something. Sofie, are you alive?

Another shit day in Dayton.
The shooting? It was horrible. My cousin and friends were working down there when it happened.

But Dave Chappelle threw a benefit concert Sunday and some of the victims families were there hugging people and it was emotional. One guy lost his only son and all he wanted to do was hug everyone. At the end of the concert everyone was hugging and singing Lauren Hill Killing Me Softly together.

And Kanye did Sunday Services here. I’m sad I missed it.

Yeah, the shooting.

Good to see some popular, famous people come out and unite grieving people.

Chappelle is from Ohio, right? Cleveland though? I heard he's got a new Netflix special up and it's stirring some controversy. I'll have to catch it soon.

Bugatti’s making a car “for their best customers” that can go over 300 mph (490 km). The Chiron Sport 300+. Only 30 will be made and cost $3.9 million. I’m getting one because I’m tired of taking the bus.

I believe that you are probably getting one. I feel like you are a highly successful person. Like 1% of the 1%.

Side note that story/poem about a girl and you compared it being a brick in a wall. Do you have that anywhere? I'm teaching poetry at the moment and from memory that was amazing. There are some things in there I would love to use if you have it.

I think I learned more about Brexit from watching 8 out of 10 Cats/Countdown than anywhere else. Their takes on it on there are hilarious.

Parasite was great, as was 1917. Irishman was ok, but too long. Joker was crap but Phoenix was good. Jojo Rabbit was funny enough, but not best picture worthy.

Not seen the rest yet.

Once upon a time in Hollywood was weird. I liked it but I also thought it was kinda shit
Yeah, I saw Jojo. I laughed out loud at a lot of the jokes, especially the ones delivered by Hitler. But it felt very short. But the message was really good and the character of Jojo was adorable.

I typically watch movies in chunks, like 30-45 mins chunks, so I am about halfway through Hollywood. I'm enjoying it so far and it might be because of the cast. I love Leo and Pitt. I am still waiting for the "aha" moment in the movie that warrants all the hype it had from the Oscars. It might have had the hype because it was a Tarantino film.

I feel like I would have enjoyed it much more if it hadn't heard so much hype. I was expecting to be blown away but i just kinda enjoyed it
