I just realized that my way of thinking about other members, and about our community, well it changed when I could go on Facebook and look what Shadow's family looks like and what their interests are. If I wanted to sneak around I could probably learn a lot about the members on this board from simply reading how they talk to and get talked to by friends on facebook.

Then I started thinking, Facebook really has made every person out there a lot more accessible through the internet. I remember back in the days before Mike and Jon would post their pictures. Actually, I still don't think I've seen a picture of Jon. There was mystery and excitement there. It's more difficult to be mysterious without also being a pathetic fag who re-registers on another account and pretends to be someone else.

This applies furtherer into the internet world. Knowing someone's name five ten years ago didn't mean much. You could extract tax records maybe. Community sites worked with usernames like forums still do. Facebook was groundbreaking in that it associated people by their real name and not a moniker. Today it means you can get a look straight into their daily life. Do you like that people on the internet have become so accessible?

Also, who the hell are all those 309 people? That means at least every regular poster is there. Who's Taneeka, Mahlatse and Özcan?

Exactly! I like it. I'm not afraid to show my face, or get laughed at. I do however enjoy any positive critiques and comments, so it's a win-win situation for me!

Teh beard project was cancelled, currently my belly is the point of focus. Maybe I should put my belly in my avatar and update it as it shrinks. Then on holidays I could have like an Easter belly and a Christmas belly avatar.

Just the type of faggy music I would expect you to listen to. Please come back in and take it with you out of the thread!

When i clicked on the thread title i thought you meant the layout so i voted no. Its not that I don't like the new layout, there was just nothing wron with the old one.

I couldn't give a fuck about your question though.

my profile is supposed to be private. so it doesn't make me accessible per se to strangers. but i guess if you consider sh members strangers then yeah.

I'm pretty sure Jon was in the Vegas pictures, back when Limn still had a full head of hair.
He was edited out that I can remember. He was later shown when the pictures were reposted in their original format some years later. Or something. I don't remember, I just remember Jon and Mike's appearances were mysteries, and people would ask them to post pictures all the time. Kind of like how we did with SiGh the year before last if you remember.

I couldn't give a fuck about your question though.
To be honest, I have no idea why I actually made the thread. Turn of events:
1) I go to facebook and see a funny comment on Shadows' wall
2) I comment on it
3) He comments back
4) I comment back again, but look at his profile for a sec. I thought hmm, wonder what Shadows dad looks like, and his profile was linked there, so I clicked it
5) It felt kind of weird, I suddenly felt like it's so easy for someone to get insight into someone else's life through Facebook
6) I made a thread where I said a bunch of bullshit. Might as well have called it "The Freepost Thread Part X" or "Hi guize I'm gonna post more frequently again". It was just to make a thread where I could interact with the members on the board.
7) You all respond with negative/oblivious comments, discouraging me to make more threads :(:(

Shut up assholes!

Da_Funk's post made me laugh.

And I refuse to remove my Trololo Russian singer from this thread.

I bid you farewell.

I like it. I don't hide nothing from no one. Only my ex's. They are stuck with my myspace. lol.

If I was, per se, famous, then no. I don't want people messaging me, unless I asked a question, i.e. Twitter.
I'd take the time to respond back to my fans.

I got responded today by 2 famous people, 2x. It helped make my day, knowing someone like that took the time to respond.

If I considered you a friend on SH before, I don't see why. Now, if u just register and try and add me, FUCK YOU.

I also am best to be contacted that way, because I have my phone linked to FB. I can always un check and ignore people.

I don't think I really have much family on FB, mainly me.

But yah, I don't have my birth father on there. He was never there.

My picture is in the picture posted by Casey, lol.

My profile is also supposed to be private but I have some SH members on there... Preach, Casey (like 5 pages for him), Carmi, Katie, Steve (what is his name on here? IDK) I think that's it.

I actually used to talk to waay more members before Facebook, back with MSN messenger was a favorite method of communication for me.

We even talked on the phone... twice!

I think I have much less of an accent now. It was in my newbie years.

Chronic, if you are reading this, your suggestions to catch up on MSN are not good enough for me. Get Skype so we can call each other. It's easier. You too Duke. Fuck this MSN bullshit, it was nice in it's time but change has come and it's name is Skype!
