What was up with the 2pac still i rise album

It wasn't technically put out by Amaru though, based on the fact that "Amaru Records" appears nowhere outside of the thank yous... I think it was more of an Outlawz effort through Interscope Records with Afeni's blessing

Yea I'd say Still I Rise is probaly my favorite too, with Better Days coming in 2nd.. I'd say Still I Rise pissed me off the least out of Pac's post. DR work... I was gonna say Better Days was the best, but punk ass Trick Daddy annoyed the shit outta me... They might as well have put C-Murder or Silk the Shocker on it...

I see what you mean about Better Dayz, but I don't think it was as bad as you think (even though it is still your second favorite). On the bright side, I remember hearing rumors that certain Murder Inc. artists were going to be on a few songs, but thankfully that rumor was nothing more than just a rumor.

The green squares are "reps," which are given when a member clicks the "rep" button at the upper right of your post. This is usually done at will by another member when a poster submits a good post that is insightful or provides something new (i.e., a link to an uploaded unleaked song) or even just something funny that a member happens to like. I don't know exactly how it works, but each rep carries a certain value; a rep from a member who himself (or herself) already has a lot of reps gives you more points than a rep from a member with less reps. (You can see your total by viewing the "User CP" in the forum toolbar.) Each green square is a certain value of points, but not necessarily equal amounts per square.

Oh ok cool.. now I know what the deal is with the green squares.. lol dayum im happy as hell theirs a board like this on the net.. None of my friends really like Pac, so its cool being able to chat 2 other people about his work/music/ etc. They jump in my car and their ALWAYS like "Yo turn that shit off, put in that new 50/Dipset/ etc.." Dont get me wrong, I like 50 and the Dips, but i know for a fact that when i'm 75 in a wheelchair I'll still be listenin to Pac... lol

Oh yea, I got this track "Move 4 money" with Daz and Kurupt.. , but I dont think its an OG... Probaly something that Daz mixed 2gether since hes all in the intro and outro.. Any1 know? It has a hitemup.com tag in the beginning...

I believe that it's Daz and Bad Azz on it, not Kurupt. And no, it's not an OG apparently. I don't remember exactly, but I think it's from Daz's You Know What I'm Throwing Up album.

On "Only Move 4 Money", Daz took a Pac verse from some unknown song and mixed it in with him I think. I'm pretty sure tha beat isn't from this unknown song where Pac's verse came from.

That was a lot of us in 1998, after R U Still Down and before Greatest Hits. And that was when we used to have to buy CD-Rs of songs from people. The stuff that took a lot of us weeks upon weeks to acquire at the time could be found in one long afternoon nowadays.

Hell yea... my 1st bootlegs were makaveli 2 thru 4.. got em in like mid or late 1997 I think..only 5 bucks each from a vendor in chinatown nyc... They came in these gold cds with Pacs picture in the middle and most of the songs had that "muthafucking express tag".. . The next ones i got were from this guy on this site called PacUp... It had a bunch of people like us (real Pac fans) but their was always the dumbest rumors going around though...
