I used to drink a can of Pepsi from time to time, but
last week I bought 46 cans of Pepsi because there was a very nice offer.
Today I have only 10 left.

That's 36 cans/week.

Yeah. That's all.

When you buy em in bulk, it happens. I can drink 32 oz. of Coke in a week if I don't buy it from the market and just add up how much I drink if I go out to eat with friends, maybe once a week. If I get 36 for $7 t Wal-Mart, it's a whole different story.

i just miss pepsi lemon twist - it didnt quite take off here. tasted delicious with Spanish subway.
We still have it :)
We also had Pepsi Summer Chill which was my favorite cola drink of all time. It was basically Apple-flavored Pepsi. Unfortunately it was just a limited edition sold during summer of 2007 or so.

Go to the market, buy fruit and start making freshly squeezed juice at home every day. That's what we do. It's a satisfying venture because you see that your own hand went into the making of it, plus it saves money and is the healthier option. Really guys, get with it.

I have a mild addiction to these:

I've been known to have 3 cans a day. But most of the time it's just 1.....sometimes 2.

It's actually marginally better than most soda's because it has no aspartame and it's full of ginseng, guarana and B-vitamins.

Still.... it's a vice and I'll kick it sooner or later.

You of all the people to be drinking these. The sugar? The other health issues? I'm guilty of it too, but you?

There's actually not a great deal of sugar in these compared to others. And it's LITERALLY the only carbonated thing I drink. I don't drink Pepsi, Coke, Sprite, etc. My main enemy is Aspartame.....and these don't contain it.

Aspartame is actually much worse for you than sugar. It was banned by the FDA for years, until they were paid off to legalize it.

As for the other health issues.....well, I very rarely drink alcohol, I quit smoking cigarettes, I'm vegan, I get a lot of exercise, and I weigh less than 150 pounds, so I think any deficit from my one vice is more than countered by everything else. Having said that, I do recognise it's not the greatest habit in the world and I intend to cut down.

Because I travel and am on tour so much - I got into these to counter jet lag. Like, when I just got back from the US a couple weeks ago, I got back home at something like 5pm. I was so tired, but I obviously didn't want to go to sleep until a normal time, so I just drank one of these and was able to stay awake for a few hours to try and get back into a semi-regular sleeping pattern.

I also avoid aspartame but there's no aspartame in our Pepsi, coke, fanta, sprite etc. Only in their light versions.
Pepsi here only contains white sugar in them and caramel coloring. About 30g per a 330ml can of sugar which is less than most juices on the market.

Yeah, I use it for the same reasons as well. If I need to stay up, I find a Red Bull or a Monster help keep me up for a six hour session in the library. Is Red Bull any better/worse than Monster? It's more expensive for less of it, but I find the taste better than Monster's.

About the sugar content, I believe one can has 12 spoons of sugar? This was from a 5 hour energy commercial. Have you tried those instead? I have actually never had one and realized I probably wasn't drinking energy drinks completely for the perk up but more for the taste.

Do they call your diet Cokes, Pepsis, etc. "diet" or "light?" Is it "Light Coke/Coke Light" or "Diet Coke?" I see a marketing ploy there.

Soft drink + vitamins is = no. Not even the bestest scientist in all the lands would convince me otherwise.
Concurrance on the Monster though, the green one, not blue or yellow, the green one. I'm glad they're expensive so I don't drink them very often.

Blue is low calorie and yellow is...??? There are lots more colors now. There's even a coffee blend one.
