I have the Galaxy S 4G from T-Mobile. I skipped out on upgrading through the Galaxy S II and III era's. They weren't much of an upgrade compared to what is going to be coming out later this year. So glad I restrained myself from the S III, was tough.

I have a MyTouch 4G/HTC Glacier as well. It has a cracked screen so I only use it for dev shit. Same with this HTC Sensation 4G I have. I'll most likely sell both of these to help out with getting a new phone

Samsung Nexus S w/ cracked screen and no root. Come December 16th, it will be two full years.

I am super glad I held out on not getting every phone you guys have at the moment.

According to my online T-Mobile account:

Good deal. So there's at least two of us with GS3s.

I am unable to find a kernel for the Sprint version anywhere. I'll have to check xda again, but I was hoping we'd have 2 Ghz kernels by now.

Yeah it appears to have been a freak accident for me. I didn't even drop the phone; just something else on it. I think I posted pics. It was more over the touch sensors for the buttons. That's where ground zero was. The rest just kinda spider webbed up a little bit. Screen still works flawlessly though so real happy about that.

well, let me dumb it down for you.

iPhone 5 is being announced tomorrow. Amazon probably has a significant amount of SGIIIs in stock. What do they think of SGIII's chances of selling at a respectable price after people get a whiff of the iPhone 5?

anyway, it was more of a joke. I have no doubt the SGIII is the best phone on the market but I do find it funny how Amazon sees the market.

Let's not forget how lng the S III has been out as well. Price was going to drop regardless. I think it's a smart move to drop the price right now though

I see. I've seen the rumors and iOS is just stale as shit at this point. I love the hardware Apple makes but the mobile OS is officially done for me. My S3 really does trounce anything Apple could announce tomorrow as a feature of the phone. And I still wouldn't switch.

Apple has really pissed me off after their litigation shit. They really do want to live in the past by enforcing patents and copyright laws. Fuck that shit.

What's funny is when this new iPhone comes out having LTE capability how much it's going to get sued by Samsung and HTC. Samsung probably won't have much but HTC has some ammo to throw at Apple and god I hope it hits, they need a taste of their own sorry ass strategy

Sorry, I saw that some of you guys are considering the Nexus 7 and Amazon's tablets. The Nexus 7 is much better, it's better than the new Amazon tablets. It's better on paper but the difference in reality is much more significant. Nexus 7 is just flawless to use (and comes with stock Android and I bet at least two years of getting fresh new Android versions soon after announcements).
You can feel that Android 4.1 was made FOR this device and all tablet apps are optimized exactly for this device.
It's the smoothest Android experience at the moment and the tablet itself is of great quality - it's really hard to believe that it's only 199$ because you don't feel the cuts on component or build quality.

The new Xperias beat SGS3 in benchmarks but SGS3 is the most complete phone on the market (I also like HTC One S and One X but I realized that to be fair the SGS3 might be a better phone after all because it doesn't fail anywhere). A lot of Korean people here have them, including a chick I hang out with and I often play with that phone and it's really cool. The design kind of grew on me so while I don't love it I don't think it's ugly anymore. There's really nothing to complain about and the phone does good or very good in all areas.

Those new Xperias and RAZRs look like decent phones and if priced right they are great alternatives to the SGS3 but.. I have a feeling that Xperias might lack in the display area, RAZRs might offer inferior quality or battery life.. I just feel like Sony and Motorola are making attempts to catch up but they don't shine in any specific area and at the same time their phones usually lack.. something. You can feel that Samsung's more serious about their Galaxy series.

Yeah, that's gonna be fun to watch. I realized it really didn't irritate me until recently what Apple was doing. I am more upset that Apple isn't changing anything after two big updates from iOS 4 and is still trying to preserve style from the iPhones of two years ago.

The 5 will still probably sell, though, but Samsung still benefited greatly from both the S2 and S3 doing well.
